Ejector Ring, Reeds 'n Stuff

The ejector ring for bassoon reeds is used to easily detach the reed from the mandrel after the wire has been fixed. By using an ejector ring, you avoid twisting the reed when pulling it off the mandrel, which would otherwise lead to undesired blade slippage.

You can also use the Ejector Ring as a depth stop so that your reeds are always formed the same way, and it can also be used in a similar manner on spiral and diamond-coated reamers.

The ejector ring can be set to any desired position and fits on all bassoon mandrels and reamers with a maximum diameter of 6 mm.
